Freelance Music Therapist
Emma is a classically trained flautist and a newly qualified music therapist, having studied at Leeds College of Music for her performance degree between 2016-2019 before completing her music therapist training through the Nordoff Robbins Master’s programme 2019-2021.
She has always had a passion for making music and for helping to care for people, and she feels very lucky to be working in a profession where she can combine both these fields and make a real difference to people’s lives.
Emma says: “I am very excited to collaborate with the North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre as their approach to music therapy really speaks to me – I am very excited to get stuck in and make music with lots of people! 🙂”
