  • Music My Voice Fund

    The Music My Voice (MMV) Fund is our general donation and grant fund, helping to underpin the work of North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre and ensuring that music therapy and music-based activities can reach the people who need them.

    The name Music My Voice reflects the powerful role music can play in helping people communicate, express themselves and explore their feelings and emotions.

    Unlike funding awarded for specific projects or capital costs, the MMV Fund gives us the flexibility to respond where support is needed most. Your donation can help us:

    • Subsidise music therapy for children in special schools, enabling schools to access therapy at a reduced cost while MMV helps cover the remainder.

    • Support individual clients where the full cost of therapy cannot be met through other funding, or where additional support is needed.

    • Provide free group music sessions for children, families, older people, people experiencing mental health challenges and others in our local communities, where these sessions are not fully covered by project funding.

    • Support community music activities, including choirs, informal concerts, and opportunities for people to come together through music.

    Every donation to the Music My Voice Fund helps us remain flexible and responsive, allowing our music therapists to provide meaningful opportunities for people of all ages and abilities across North Yorkshire.

  • Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you. To add Gift Aid to your donation please complete all the fields in the contact form when making your donation.

    How to Include North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre in Your Will
